Here is the revised sketch of the "Grave" Buffy portrait. I have decided to go with a suggestion given to me by Shaz (Msperoxideluv). I am depicting Buffy from the moment where she tells Dawn "I don't want to protect you from the world...I want to show it to you". The buyer and I have decided that this is the pivotal scene in the episode (other than the Yellow crayon Xander/ willow scene) because it is when Buffy decides that she wants to live. When finished I will also include a small subtle tear still not sure of the immediate background the drawing itself will dictate how it blends in...LOL Personally I like this revised look better than what I had originally...but I want to know what you think. Thanks again everyone for the suggestions and special Hugs for Shaz for once again being an awesome source of inspiration ;D Oh my... she blushes profusely! It was awhile ago that we spoke about this concept for Grave, I almost forgot I suggested this! LOL> Thank you Scotty for the kind words. But, you've got it wrong.. your work inspires me!! I'm so glad that the buyer liked the idea.. because ultimately.. you want them to be happy with their commission! And now seeing it with the other images, I think it does really work well. It was the one finale, where Buffy actually ended up "happy" (or as happy as she can be) and embracing her life again. So, that is really a pivotal moment. The drawing itself is really lovely! No trace of Anya look-a-like here! I think you captured a fantastic likeness of SMG. And of course, with the rare smile! I can't wait to see it all finished. What a masterpiece this is becoming!!

When I saw it, I said exactly what Pedro said, "WOAH!!!"
Kent, I'm just speechless. That is beautiful. The likeness is great, the expression is lovely and the background is exquisite and perfect symbolism for Buffy.
I can't believe how fast you're completing the picture! I'm so psyched to see Chosen in it's full glory.

After a couple of months and many updates I am happy to say that the 7 Season Finales Buffy drawing is now finished. In this drawing I tried to capture the many moods and Looks that Sarah Michelle Geller as Buffy had throughout the series run of "Buffy The Vampire Slayer". I may still go back and tweak a few small details but for all purposes the Drawing is now finished ;D The Buffy "Essence Of The Slayer" Drawing can now be viewed in Scotty's Gallery Of Drawing ;D Buffy "Essence Of The Slayer" DrawingI would Like to Thank everyone for all of the Awesome comments, Your feedback helped inspire me to finish the drawing. Special Thanks to Browncoat for commissioning the drawing it was a challenge and I hope that you like the results. To Pedro (MAX/Kal-El) , Shaz (Ms Peroxideluv) and Wayne (Willowswarlock) Thanks so much for all your suggestions and help all of which helped me more that I can say ;D

Wow! It's so amazing. I'm still blown away that you completed this in a pretty short period of time. I can see the likeness of Prophecy Girl Buffy better since you sent me the original picture you took the image from: Chosen Buffy looks striking, with her intense expression, and clean lines on her hair and body, and subtle shading. The overall effect of the piece conveys the spectrum of Buffy's bravery and evolution, while also conveying her immense beauty. I definitely want a poster! I also want to order a couple to send to friends. Thanks for inspiring us all with your talent and hard work, Scotty!
