Wow! You have done great, Buffy still looks like Buffy but you have made her younger, great action pose and the detail is fantastic. From what you said about the other Buffy's to come, this piece is going to be awesome! Cannot wait for more!

Somehow I missed this.. Scotty, this work already has so much emotion and drama in the expressions.. I don't know how you can capture so much in a line drawing. This will be a masterpiece- I'm sure.

After a brief break; I have resumed working on the 7 Seasons drawing. Here is the latest update... I have added the remaining seasons Portraits and have cleaned up the line drawing and added white highlights. At this stage the drawing is still very rough and some refinements still need to be done on a few of the portrait likenesses, but this is the final layout of all of the portraits for the drawing. As always constructive comments and criticisms are welcomed and appreciated...So fellow Buffy fans Please let me know what you think (good or bad) ;D

Wow, Scotty, that is BEAUTIFUL!
So many iconic moments. You've captured her likeness especially well in the ones from Chosen, Restless and the Gift.
The only one where I think the likeness still needs work is Prophecy Girl. Her forehead is too high, I think. And something else about her face isn't quite Buffy.
But I think it's mostly because the rest of them are such fantastic likenesses that it stands out. This piece is pure magic!

I love the facial expressions you really captured the emotions. PG- trepidaton, caution, fear, Season 5- at peace at last, Season 7-fierce determination. It's really going to be beautiful.
But, I do agree with GP, that the forehead seems somewhat high, the eyes seem a bit far apart and the nose seems a bit pug to me too. And you know I hate to be picky, but this will be your masterwork when you're done, so it should be perfection!!
Honestly, this will be your finest hour!!

Thanks for all of feedback I really appreciate everyone's comments more than I can express. Here is an update for the drawing. I have decided to do each portrait in season order...so the first portrait that I am working on is Prophesy Girl Buffy from season 1. In this scan I have worked on refining the likeness of the portrait and have started blocking in the colors of the Prom dress and background... I am only showing the section of the drawing that I am working on since this drawing is much larger than my usual drawings. It takes 6 scans all stitched together to show the whole drawing so it would too much of a problem to scan the entire drawing for each update This section still has a lot of work yet but I wanted to get the likeness down before I started working on her crossbow (Now if I can find the crossbow accessory in my accessory box for reference...LOL) As always Constructive comments and criticisms are welcomed and appreciated so fellow Buffy fans Please let me know what you think (Good or Bad)

I wanna get a print of this for sure! I think the idea is great, and you've captured most of the seasons's well. My favorite would be your drawing of "Restless" Buffy, she looks amazing. The only one I'm not sure of is "Grave" Buffy... I dunno how it's going to turn out, but it seems the least exciting of the seven/

Thanks for all of the comments. I appreciate everyone's feedback...your words really help me out more than I can say. The only one I'm not sure of is "Grave" Buffy... I dunno how it's going to turn out, but it seems the least exciting of the seven/ I am not to pleased with the "Grave" portrait either...it is my least favorite of all of them. I tried to get the buyer to allow me to use OMWAF Buffy (with the pool stick) as season 6 but she insisted on "Grave" (against my artistic judgment). Not to worry I plan to do a major overhaul on the "Grave" portrait and at least make it look as good as I can. I think that once finished "Grave" Buffy won't look so bad ;D

Oh well, I have faith that you will do the best you can with what you have to work it... Now if it were Willow (now dat would be cool ^_^! Oh, throw Willow in over Buffy!!!)

I can understand why the buyer wanted Grave Buffy since its a finales drawing. I actually think Grave Buffy will look perfect when complete. OMWF Buffy though maybe more animated and a more "ooomphy" Buffy wouldn't have complimented the rest of the final product. I think PG Buffy is looking great now, you can really see the detail building in. Also, throughout all of the Buffy's you can see the difference in her aging and her body changing. I like the young, slightly puppy fat Buffy of PG Buffy and then you can see Buffy becoming harder more muscular with the sketch of Becoming Pt 2 Buffy. Then we work the way around to stick thin Buffy in Grave! Fantastic work and I'd definitely be interested in a print too.
