I watched Groundhog Day again today. I haven't seen it all the way through in a long time. It's such a great movie! Love it.

The Punisher. John Travolta was sorely under-used. I was despairing of this film 60 minutes in and then it became really funny when the Russian attacked Frank Castle, the film picked up momentum and went in a different direction, so I really enjoyed the last 50 mins!

"The Prestige", what an awesome movie! One of the best movies that I've seen in a long time.

Last night I watched Lies and Alibis.
I had never heard of it, but someone at the video store recommended it. It's really funny and cool. It's more like Ocean's 11, with the cons, timing and humor.
It stars Rebecca Romjin, James Marsden, Selma Blair, Sam Elliott, James Brolin, Steve Coogan, and John Leguizamo. Jerry O'Connell has a small role stripped down in some really tiny American flag briefs.
If you liked Ocean's 11, you'll probably really like Lies and Alibis. I recommend it!

Killing Me Softly...
My God, aside from the unnecessary and excessive bonking in this film there was nothing... Thin plot, I guessed whodunit as soon as we met the character. Complete hogwash.

Eragon
I don't get why so many people raved about this movie, in my opinion it wasn't that great. It was too much like Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter. I swear I said "rip off" like 20 times during that movie. So many motions, scenes and phrases sounded and looked like they came straight from Lord of the Rings. Whoever made that movie has no sense of imagination, they copied too much from other things and didn't make something original.
