I was a lucky girl yesterday, not only did I watch Superman II: The Richard Donner cut in the evening, I saw Snatch for the first time in the early afternoon.
Have to say I thoroughly enjoyed Snatch and I didn't expect too. Tonnes of guffaw moments. I need to catch Lock, Stock when its on as I haven't seen that either!

Lock, stock is great - love Vinnie Jones. He ahs made the transition from footballer to actor very well.
Last weekend I watched - John Tucker must die, and the Texas chainsaw massacre the beginning.

Some old "Jack the Ripper" movie starring Michael Caine. Parents had left it on TV this afternoon, so I watched.

Collateral - first time I have seen it all the way through as we had a dodgy DVD rental when it first came out. A nasty Tom Cruise is scary.

Shaun of the dead....rewatched for like the 50th time. Words cant explain how much I adore this genius movie.
I LOVEEEED Hot Fuzz as well but Shaun of the dead is the best I think.
Simon pegg and Nick Frost are just the best two some ever...they have the best chemistry and are very entertaining, especially Nick Frost, he is hysterical.

I bought "Superman II" The Richard Donner Cut last Sunday. I have watched this movie twice since then and I am still in AWE at how much better this version is compared to the version that was originally released. As far as I am concerned the original release no longer exist in my mind, it has been replaced forever by Richard Donner's version. I am just so glad that the fans petitioned WB to let them restore this wonderful sequel to "Superman the Movie" back to the way it was originally envisioned.
Viewing this Version is like seeing a brand new movie and is a wonderful tribute to Christopher Reeve who made us believe "that a Man can Fly"
