I love Lost, and got hooked up in no time! I watched the first season last Spring in 4 days, and then caught up on the second right before the new season started on ABC...Even though I am not planning on collecting anything from the show ( My Buffy collection is just enough) I saw that great t-shirt at Virgin with a Sawyer relief and it says " I'd get lost with Sawyer"...I want that shirt really bad, but since homosexuality can still be a taboo, they only made it for women's...So I tried the medium size but it just looked ridiculous on me Does any one of you would know if larger size ( xl) would eb available anywhere else, please? they only had small and medium, which looked more like 8 and 10 yo to me....

Well, I missed the first two season because the general story seemed different than what I usually watch. But when Alias ended I had to have some JJ Abrams goodness so I rented the first two season on DVD and watched for about 2-3 weeks and by the end of season 1 I knew this show is simply amazing...the mystic aspect really added a lot, IMO.

I started watching a couple of months ago. I had been meaning to watch for a while and just hadn't gotten around to it. Then Maggie Grace was scheduled to appear at the Dallas Comic Con in October (which I usually volunteer at) and I happened to get assigned to work her table for Saturday. She was great and very sweet, and getting to spend that time around her really pushed me to finally watch the show.
So the a couple of days after the con, I went out and bought season one and was pretty much hooked after the first disc. Finished the set off in a couple of days and went right out and picked up season two. Season two started to get a little on the weird side for my tastes, but overall it's not too bad. It just seemed to lack something season one had, and I can't seem to put my finger on what it is.
So far season 3 hasn't impressed me much, but it's only six episodes in so we'll see where it goes. I'm hoping they'll really start to delve more into why all of these characters have crossed paths before the plane crash. That was something particularly interesting to me and I'm kind of sad that they haven't really done anything with it yet.

I stuck to season 1 and 2 religiously and enjoyed it, though it did loose its gusto season 2. Then stupid Channel 4 didn't stump up the money and its been sold to Sky which I don't have! So no more Lost.
I'd actually appreciate a season 3 synopsis!

The season 3 seems more interesting to me than the second. We finally get to see who the Others really are and how they live. It's like a real resort : Baking Chocolate muffins and a book club...Question is how did they get their supplies? Are they really victims of a crash, or a bunch of lunatics who decided to have their own community and own rules far away from the rest of the world? I am very frustarted by ABC 's policy to have a 3 months break, I think that really suck, and it really pissed me off when they announced no new episodes would be broadcast before February...

I remember seeing the previews of LOST. I thought it was going to be a drama that would be a crappy version of Survivor, but I liked Alias a lot and Felicity was a guilty pleasure {and got me into a group of cute girls(but that backfired)}. So from premiere night I watched, and was hooked. To me the only low point was Michelle Rodriguiz. Not because of the actress, but there was nothing likable about her character. Otherwise I love the ride it is taking me on.
I think that is where a lot of the criticism about the 2nd and third seasons comes from. The friends that I have that don't like the show anymore cite that they never answer any questions and have too many flashblacks.
However the lack of answers for me is not a problem, and I like the backstories too.

The creators have said thye have enough plot ahead of them for 5 seasons...and then apparently they will wrap it all up with a feature film...again just heard this through the grapevine so its not fact. (and I hope its not...wrapping it up with a feature film to me is just a bit crpa nad just money grabbing...although thinking about it Lost on a big screen would be wicked)
Season 3 is good so far...a lot more revealed but the writers really need to pick up the pace now otherwise they will lose a lot more viewers...I know they have to keep with the style of the show but I do think this season needs to have more reveals than the last two...the entire hatch plot could have been dealt with and tied up half way through season 2...then these first 6 episodes could have easily been the last 6 of season 3....hmmm...just my opinion but I guess I will have to wait and see in feb' to see what the writers have up their sleeves....which by the way has anybody noticed some buffy/angel people? Season one had david fury on board and now season 3 seems to have drew goddard with them.
So what are peoples theories about the numerous plots?
Do people go along with the idea that maybe they are all in some biosphere thingy in the middle of the antartic etc which would explain the polar bears and the seaosn 2 finishing scene...personally I dont although all my friends do lol.
My opinion is that the polar bears are actually from the aquarium thing that jack is being held in...maybe it used to contain all animals and fish etc, thus containing the polars bears....?
sorry Iv realized Iv RAMBLED for ages...so what are peoples theories?

wheres michael and walt? does walt have special powers? wheres russo? why did the 'other' girl help clare escape the others why do the others want children and babies? these are just some of the questions i ask myself I'm here in the UK too but do not have Sky, thanks Channel 4! But... Michael and Walt are gone, the actor who played Michael whose name escapes me has not had his contract renewed. I suppose this means Walt come back. Definite implication Walt has telekinetic powers, probably conducted and amplified by "mystery island". Russo is around and hiding. The other girl helped Claire as "other girl" is Russo's daughter and I daresay did not want to see Aaron taken away from Claire as she was taken from Russo. What do the others want with the kids? I'm thinking maybe trying to find a cure for a disease, everlasting life or the messiah! I ask: is there any other plausible explanation apart from they are all dead and working through their issues?

I am very disapointed cuz I haven't found my Sawyer t-shirt yet...Anyway, living in Hollywood is pretty funny. One of my friends work in a restaurant and she had the pleasure to wait Michael's table one night! She said he was a sweetheart! Next thing is she might meet the all cast of Lost cuz she is going to Hawai in a couple weeks! I am so jealous!!!!!

I found my SAWYER TEE!!!!Yes! I went to Hot Topic this morning, and wasn't really hoping they'll carry that shirt! They did and had the size Large! Perfect for me! And it was WAY cheaper than at the Virgin Megastore!
The Polar Bear appeared after Walt was reading a comic book with a polar bear on the cover...
