What a finale! Is Clark with Jor-El? Is Jonathan and Chloe dead? (No I know they cant be, because they are in future seasons) Is Lex ok after being poisoned? This was a great finale! In the last few episodes leading up to this you can see Lex changing and having the potential to be a baddie. Yiu can also see that feelings for Lana are emerging. Oh and poor Pete left before all this drama kicked off. So looking forward to future seasons. British members - pm me when new seasons start please x

I think Smallville has some of the best finales around. Everything is always falling apart in a colossal way, often with major natural disasters and most or all of the main characters heading towards certain death. Good times.
Covenant was so intense the way they orchestrated all the crises happening at once: Chloe's safe house blowing up, Lex being poisoned, and everything else. The end is all choreographed so magnificently.
I hope you don't have to wait long for season four. I won't spoil you, but the season 4 premiere is really awesome. The season 4 finale is even bigger than season 3, so you have that to look foward to.
I've always thought that the story of Smallville was as much the story of Lex's descent into darkness as much as it is the story of Clark and Lana. I think Michael Rosenbaum gets quite a wide range with that character. But as an actor, I don't think he's nearly as interesting to watch as John Glover (Lionel). I think they could have done better on the casting of Lex.
BTW, Shep, who is that in your banner? Is that the new Wonder Woman?!?
