I finally got myself to watch the final two episodes and frankly, I'm disappointed. On their own, these two episodes are the closest thing we've got to season 1 quality. Veronica is tougher than ever and I love how she out smarted her "opponents". I liked especially the final episode when they got "full circle" with Veronica getting back to be quite the outcast and going head to head with a key character from her past. But, as final seasonal arc they are weak. The first arc ended with such a suspenseful episode, and the second arc was very thrilling as well, but then the show became static...single arcs with no big story. And seeing this, I don't understand how Rob Thomas hoped to get renewed with such an anti-climatic season/series finale. Not to mention how there's almost no resolution to any of the characters. Perhaps if it's been the series finale I won't be so disappointed but seeing the last scene; with Veronica going away and the screen goes black I realized that they could not end the series any worse. Such a great show got put down so soon...a true shame.
