This week's episode was really intense, with the Ferry boat crash and all the trauma victims.
I was happy to see Burke being upbeat and cute again. I've been so tired of his character this season, even separate from the on set issues the actor has had. Burke has been so sulky and serious.
I agree that it's not healthy that George married Callie right after his dad died. He clearly has not grieved and is trying to distract himself from his pain. I was happy he finally stood up to his friends for how rude and judgmental they are towards Callie.
I was laughing so hard when he told the group that he and Callie ahd gotten married and they were all silent until Alex broke the silence with the comment, "So now she's Callie McNally?" LMAO.
McSteamy was brought some levity to the dark episode when the Chief asked what was going on and Mark answered, "Sheperd and Grey are on the rocks and Burke and Yang are engaged." That was so funny that he was asked for the medical situation and he summed up the social gossip. I really like him on the show.
Addison, one of my favorites was so great in the elevator with all the doctors who are vying for the Chief's job and were laughing at the Chief's hair dye. "You're living with Yang, you have the perfect 12 year old boy intern [Meredith], and YOU are ... Mark [Meaning a big old slut]."
That was pretty freaky when Meredith was flung into the water and the little girl just stood there. Seems like she wouldn't have much time being such a skinny, zero percent body fat "perfect 12 year old boy" in that frigid Seattle water.
I'm really liking Derek more and more this season. He's very supportive and more admirable than his self-righteous arrogance and all around meanness of last season.
The way the pregnant woman's face was so hideously swollen just broke my heart. I was touched to see Alex connecting with her eyes and her humanity, despite the fact that she looked so inhuman with her disfiguring injuries. Alex is such a conundrum.
