BBC2 showed episodes 1 and 2 last night and all I can say is fantastic!
It was definitely worth the wait... The characters are cool and all likable (out of the core group), but I am not liking Claire's dad at all, nope, not one little bit.
One episode a week is not going to be enough. Bloody brilliant stuff! ;D

I'm so glad that you like it. I found it completely addictive. I hope the UK gets all the episodes from season one straight through. We had long gaps in the season.
Claire's dad definitely takes you on a roller coaster!
I heard one of the creators of Heroes say that they tried to make the show reveal lots of answers as they go along, not drag the questions on and on.
Hiro has always been my favorite of the Heroes. He's so enthusiastic and sincere.

We'll be going straight through until January. That's the only upside of waiting so long to get US shows. Hiro is so goofy sweet.

Madvicks didnt you watch it when it was on scifi channel?
Well they aired the finale in the Uk on scifi like the week before it started on bbc...so I finished it up...and now im gonna watch it all over again on the bbc!haha!
And yep...Claires dad does take the audience on quite a roller coaster.
I did find a few in consistences in heroes but Im not suprised. With SO much happening all the time and with such a huge cast I bet it must be hard to keep it all right.
there was a massive one in 'Five years later' (think thats the title)...unless they somehow explain it in season 2 but I doubt it.
!SPOILER!
Basically, 5 years into the future...and Sylar is still alive because he killed Claire and drained her healing powers...well how the hell is she still alive!! Cos it says he killed her and yet shes walking around the place pretending to be a waitress!!

SPOILER ALERTI am pretty sure (it has been months since I have seen this episode) but iin "5 Years Later" they never said that Sylar killed Claire but instead Sylar faked his own death, killed Nathan and assumed Nathan's identity. Sylar was still trying to find Claire (to kill her) it is this reason why Claire was hiding under an assumed identity as the waitress in the diner (also why in the future Claire was a brunette)...Claire's fater (Mr Bennet) hid Claire from Nathan(Sylar in disguise) because of President Petrelli's policy on the people with powers and why My Bennet was hiding folks ...sort of like a "Witness protection" but for people with powers This is my take on the episode... like I said It has been many months since i saw it so I may be mistaken

oh that makes sense.
I thought it said in hiros timeline thing he made in issacs apartment that the cheerleader was killed but i may be wrong.
cheers-me-dears for clearing that up. i found it wierd how a huge mistake like that could have been made but it was probably me making the mistake not them.

*******MORE SPOILERS FOR THE UK****** oh that makes sense. I thought it said in hiros timeline thing he made in issacs apartment that the cheerleader was killed but i may be wrong. cheers-me-dears for clearing that up. i found it wierd how a huge mistake like that could have been made but it was probably me making the mistake not them. I don't know if they made it clear, because future Hiro said that he made the timeline in Issac's apartment to figure out what needed to be changed. He had the memory of going back in time to tell Peter to save the cheerleader, and he was glad to know she was saved, but it hadn't saved the world after all, in his reality, that is. So Claire was alive in that future, since Peter saved her after future Hiro warned him, but future Hiro still had made his timeline and remembered going back in time. Ah, time travel is so confusing!

(I'm not being sarcastic, I honestly mean it as its allowed me to skip chunks of your posts as I want to try and avoid spoliers for this show! *Sticks fingers in ears and goes "Lalalalalala!"*)

I started to watch it on the Sc-fi channel but I fell really behind and when the SKY engineer came out again and again because of problems we ended up deleting them, but I knew that it was going to air this summer on BBC2, so I could watch them then. I never knew there are 23 eps in the 1st season.
I havent read the spoilers above, I like a suprise!
BBC2 also repeat the episode on a Thursday night at 11.20pm.
It was the first time ever that BBC2 took over the ratings from BBC1.
