Did anyone see Jack Coleman on the View?
He was so sweet! It was fun to see him without his glasses, talking about his kids.
And he's a sixth generation descendant of Benjamin Franklin! That is so cool!
The glasses aren't prescription. He said he wears contacts, because he's naturally pretty blind, but the horned rimmed glasses that identify his character are just props with clear frames.
He also talked about his 7 year old daughter and they showed a picture of him with her. The show had been discussing whether co-ed dorms are a good idea. Jack said, "To what end?" Basically, why do that? What is the purpose of having co-ed dorms, which I agree with. It's one thing for it to be OK to have overnight guests of the opposite gender, but I think it's another thing to push the genders together in co-ed floors and bathrooms where you can't have privacy.
Anyway, it was so cute, because Jack said that he's not "much of a gun guy", but when his daughter gets to be 14, then he made a a gesture like he was loading a rifle and gesturing a guy to come over to him.
Anyway, he had a lot of personality and was pretty funny. He also indicated that he's not going to be the one to die this season on Heroes, so that's cool.
They also showed a clip of him fromwhen he played Stephen on Dynasty. I forgot what huge, fluffy blond hair he had back on that show. He and Heather Locklear were the blond, big-haired married couple. Anyone else remember how Stephen was gay, but married Sammy Jo, then she preceded to wreak havoc on his life?
They didn't mention that he was the Salem Strangler on Days of Our Lives back in about 1980. It would have been fun if they'd have shown a clip of that.
