What really bugged me in these cut-scenes is the fact that now her father is involved. Instead of accepting Natla's offer because it sounds like fun, this time Lara accepts it to finish her father work and that really takes a lot of Lara's Independence. IMO, Natla looks OK, though now she's hardly human (just look and her fingers) and that takes most of the big twist (she's one of the rulers of Atlantis). her nose as well...looks really long and strange. I do like her with the long hair though. I agree about all of what you said. Ive been doing some TR research and I like the idea of Lara working for fun rather then for her father. Natla looks scary and wrecks the whole ending... She should look more normal... It would have worked much better. Though I like the voice alot, but reminded me of Amanda for some reason...

Yep, TR1 sorry. NVIDIA 9450 (I think it's a 9450 could be 9650), I'll have to check as I am on my laptop and not my PC. OK, so it's not because of your card. I recommend you deleting the installation and installing it exactly as it said here. Follow it step by step (especially with the restarts of your PC whenever it's needed). Should work after that. If only Crystal realized it instead on involving all of Lara's relatives. BTW, the voice actress that does Natla is Grey DeLisle (who also did Mandy from The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy.

Just a quick question, would people recommend me buying the Tomb Raider I-II-III pack? I found it on ebay for pretty cheap, and I was wondering if the first three games are the best, or if I should buy one of the newer games like Angel of Darkness?

You should definitely get TR1-5 for PS1 or all 6 for PC. Most of AOD (aka TR6) bugs have patches on PC while the PS2 version remains problematic as it was. But I really recommend you playing all of the classic TR game; even though the graphics are bad (compared to new games) the gameplay and stories are simply amazing.

Thanks Lior.
I did follow those instructions, I printed off a hard copy yesterday and I rebooted when it said.
But, missing from those instructions is a step 2a, especially when using dgVoodoo Glide as the emulator.
I tried booting my system up at 12:30pm today and have had major issues with my AV and Firewall software (BullGuard), its taken a system restore to my pre-ATR installer point from yesterday and no less than 4 AV/FW uninstalls and installs with reboots in-between to get my PC running properly.
I don't think it was very happy with the ATR Installer last night.

I really recommend you asking in TombRaiderForums.com - Tech Support; there are some very good technicians.

A bit off topic, but I finally completed my TR Artifacts collection and wanted to share my excitement with you. ;D

A bit off topic, but I finally completed my TR Artifacts collection and wanted to share my excitement with you. ;D Now, Lior, I am sure that after all the trouble of putting that collection together you don't want to keep it! I'll look after it for you. Very cool. I love Excalibur. BTW, I just rebooted my PC (the first time since resetting earlier) and Windows failed to initiate, something about recent hardware changes. Ooo-er... I'm thinking I'll never play TR1 again as it was originally conceived.

Maybe you should update you graphic card drivers? TR1 doesn't changes anything in Windows registry so I can't understand what caused all these problem. I seriously recommend you checking that link I posted earlier...there are professional computer technicians that can really help you.

I will do, thanks. My PC was only purchased in December, so I am hoping the drivers are pretty much up-to-date. I did wonder about trying my laptop but it has Vista and this PC has XP. Bit worried of Vista being too much unknown at the moment.
What are you running TR1 on?
Lara wouldn't mind if I nabbed her artifacts! Are they all those mini statue artifacts you collect? You have a really cool little display there.

And thanks! The artifacts from TR1-6 came with the Atlas collection (the one you mentioned). Excalibur came with NECA's Player Select Lara figure.

That T-Rex clip looks like something out of Jurassic Park! Heehee... What do you think of the interactive cut scenes?
Thanks again for the link Lior!
We are just going to have to keep waiting. What is it 6/7 weeks now?
