Don't know about Blu-Ray disc but I thought 300 stank as a film, all that hype and historically inaccurate and well pretty crap. I was expecting more since it was from the folks that did Sin City.
I haven't decided which way to jump with "next-gen" stuff yet. I forsee a VHS vs Betamax situation and plan on waiting until the victor emerges.

Funnily enough we were discussing the film 'Hairspray' and my hubby said that he wouldnt even buy it in VHS format it was that crap and I said what about betamax? ;D

um, do you have a blue ray DVD player? silly question, but thought i'd ask if he likes it, then go for it. i wish i had a nice new DVD player

We have the PlayStation 3 it plays blu-ray.
I bought a sony dvd player for my son to go in his room for £20! Bargain!

I got the "300" and "Spiderman 3" in blu-ray. £25 each - Rip off! I wanted to get Transformers in it too but appararently its licensed to HD! Typical!
