Anything that you did or experienced for the first time today?
Today I tried the first beer that I didn't like the taste.
It was a local IPA that tasted like a pile of moldy sawdust soaked in the pit around the hippo exhibit in the zoo.

Today was the first time that a child said they wanted to be my kid. I told him, "Well, your mother's life would be easier, but mine would be MUCH harder." LMAO.

Today was the first time that a child said they wanted to be my kid. Now if there was ever a compliment to be had, this is the one. Someway, a line from the Crow is ringing in my head.

I tried my son on the potty for the first time! YAY! Congratulations! You're on your way to being done with the whole diaper debacle. That's exciting!

Today was my first time going to a hazardous waste disposal facility.
I knew I was at the right place because there were people outside the gates in honest to God haz mat suits!
There's nothing funnier than a bunch of guys in real life in haz mat suits. You know, unless you've just been exposed to nuclear radiation, or something.
When I pulled in they all started shouting at me, "Do you have chemicals?! Do you have chemicals?!" They seemed quite excited about it.
Then they directed me to pull my car onto a tarp and they surrounded the car.
They shouted, "Don't get out of the car, M'aam! Stay in the car!"
It was kind of like when they took ET away from Elliot in the movie.
I think they thought I had plutonium in my car, or something.
Then they said, "Where are the chemicals? Are they in the trunk? We'll take them out."
I said, "Um, there are some batteries in there."
They were visibly dejected by this information. "That's it? That's all you have?"
I said, "Well, I have some ant poison in this bag."
That perked them up a bit. "We'll take that."
Then they surrounded the little plastic bag with my the four baits in it and scurried off.
These guys clearly don't have enough to do.

Although it was nothing thrilling, I finally answered a beckoning call of a strange object in the grocery store quietly huddled next to the bananas. Today was the first time I tried starfruit.
It was quite good, the mango however was something I would have given to Maria to make the toxic kids a little more happy.
