Dancing GirlWhat are you right-brain or left-brain? Can you get the girl to change direction? I am predominantly right brain and yes she did change.

I am also more right brained...but with a little focus she did switch. now is the figure really going only one direction or does it randomly switch off and go back and fourth just to make everyone think they can make her go the opposite direction?

Nope. Mom and I were doing it together and she switched directions for mom 5 minutes before she did for me as I wondered that too. I can only get her to switch if I engage the language center in my left-brain by writing or talking, otherwise the cows can come home and she still goes CW.

I started off with right then while reading noticed she's moving anti-clockwise. I think it's just a hoax.

I started off with right then while reading noticed she's moving anti-clockwise. I think it's just a hoax. Reading would stimulate the LHS of the brain as that is where language is. So when you read the LHS is in control. Under normal circumstances your RHS is in the driving seat.

She was going anti-clockwise for me. I then read the passage and she was still going anti-clockwise. So totally different from you guys!
Thanks for sharing Vicks, was fun x

This is so facinating...I tried it again...this time looking at both the words beside the image and the image at the same time, after a minute I was able to make her go back and forth in each direction at will, and then when I focused on the edge of the picture (the space between the image and the words) I was able to make her stop completely...this is cool! Thanks Vicks for sharing ;D

this is so strange...i find it impossible to get her to move anti clockwise.
no matter how muh i focus she constantly goes clockwise...I sat here for like 10 mins concentrating....squinting..then reading and glancing over etc...and nothing. clockwise the entire time. Very wierd.

I had a hard time making her go CCW, but did finally and yep, I got a headache from it to James. LOL. It is so cool how people's brain's are different! Glad you are enjoying it, I found it a real bizarre phenomenon. BTW, I think we should beware of Kent and Max...

I have looked at this before.
The way she spins depends on how much I had to drink.
I think that if I have enough Pina Coladas, I can get her to Limbo. . .
Has anybody snopes this?
