Mildly curious about the above since I was discussing this with male and female friends and there seemed to be a huge sex difference and age difference. I do, my dad does, my mom not so much as they irritate her. By jewellery, I mean rings, chains, bracelets as opposed to ear rings. Thanks for reading! ;D EDIT: If not, why not?

Would you consider a watch? If yes, then that's the only piece I wear more for function than form.

I only wear my wedding ring. I cant get my engagement ring on anymore since being pregnant and having Drew I must have put weight on my fingers!?
Also I can only wear my wedding ring for work anything else is a breach of uniform. If I put my necklace on I always tend to forget to take it off for work so now I dont bother and I just wear them for special occasions. I am a bit of a rebel though cos I wear hooped earrings, (small ones though), if a patient yanks it out of my ear then its my fault right..for wearing them! I have to wear hooped because the skin around my ear always tends to grow around the back of the stud, weird heh? I think I have rambled abit too much time for bed zzzzzzzzzzzz

I used to not bother much with jewelry or fashion. But after my divorce, I got into being girly again. Now I have tons of jewelry. I have a necklace tree for my many necklaces, a wicker rack I can stick my earrings in and a jewelry box for rings and pendants not currently on a chain. I don't buy much jewlery anymore. I went through a phase where I bought a lot a few years back and I'm pretty set right now.
I don't like pieces that are super large, but I like things that are unusual.
My hubby-type guy, on the other hand, wouldn't be caught dead wearing anything but a watch. I think a lot of men think that jewlery is for Guido type guys from Jersey. I have to say that I found it a big turn-off when Spike starting wearing that gold chain. What was that about?

Can't stand it. Can't even stand a watch. I can never get comfortable. That is why I will never get married.
