Mom believes in God almighty and heaven and the church but doesn't go to church as she believes to talk to God you don't have to pray in a church, mom actually does it in the garden I think. Though she could be talking to her plants...
I don't know what my dad is anymore, don't think he does either, given his fondness for hammers, it could be Norse Gods he follows.
Me... Well, me I hope there is a being that's bigger than us, I hope there is a hereafter.
We are all C of E but non-church goers and we differ on the fundamentals.

I don't know what my dad is anymore, don't think he does either, given his fondness for hammers, it could be Norse Gods he follows. LMAO! Vicks, you are so hilarious! I don't even believe what my parents believe a little bit. My dad was an Episcopal priest who acted pious and self-righteous in his life with us, even slugging us if we "took the Lord's name in vain" by saying "God." My mom is generally Episcopal, but not extreme in her beliefs. She is politically conservative and anti-abortion, but not a preachy person. Having seen how committed my dad was to rules and rituals, while not having a good, kind heart, I am much more interested in being good and loving towards others than following some seemingly arbitrary rules and rituals. I really hope there is a God, simply because I'd like for there to be a benevolent intelligence and meaning behind this messed up world of suffering. I research the reports of people who have actually died and have an experience of some kind of after life. That seems like the most credible source of information, logically. I'm also interested in historical documents and earlier texts of the Bible before it was so radically altered by scribes of questionable translation skills and the ancient church's many changes to it to further the agenda of corrupt church leaders. But I guess none of us will know for sure until we're dead. And if we don't exist anymore, we won't care anyway.
