Hi Do any of you double up on your collections? And keep one to use/display and the other sealed or for show? Or do you have your collection on one or more formats i.e VHS and DVD? In particular I was thinking of your DVD, CD and figure collections. A strange question I know, but I am very nosey Ali

I have doubled up on a few (very few) figures so I could open one: Chosen Buffy, DST Bunny Anya, EOD DLX Buffy.
I have a couple of VHS that have now been doubled up with DVDs: Buffy and Angel boxed sets as the VHS came out first and the BBC was so slow showing episodes, Blade, Blade 2, Spider-Man, Star Wars Trilogy, but again not too many... I am looking to replace my VHS collection with DVDs at some point.
I do double up on my Graham Masterton books especially if they were released in hardback by one publisher with one example of artwork and then released in paperback by another publisher with different artwork.

Usually i just buy one DVD cause i don't really display them + i usually take good care of them so they don't look 'used'. I do own some double Harry Potter DVD's, i own 2 sets containing the first 3 movies (one boxset with extra's and one without) and i also bought the new boxset that has all 4 movies. I also have Chamber of Secrets on VHS, so i own that DVD 4 times.

I have Buffy/Angel on VHS & DVD. And UK DVD's + US DVD's. I have a few books doubled up - paperback and hardback, or different covers. Also have a few CD's doubled up, if there's a special edition.

Various action figures, but only if one is destined for a custom before long...
Have a couple of DVD's just from buying separately and then boxsets later. Not many though, about two.
Oh, and I have various Buffy and Angel VHS Boxsets which later got on DVD also.

I had all Buffy and Angel on VHS but sold them when I got them on DVD. The picture quality on VHS is crap thats why I sold them, and oh storage. Plus I got rid of my video player then cos thats all the videos I had left.
