This is one of the best comedies on TV, up there with the Office, EArl and Rules of Engagement.
I think that George Lopez is hilarious. His delivery, mannerisms, tone, and timing are all brilliant. He can pull a laugh out of almost any line.
His mother, Benny, is the highlight of the show. She's so warped that it's crazy funny.
Every episode is great. I love the jokes about his giant head, and how it was giant even when he was a kid. They did a great episode a long time ago where they showed George as a kid and they superimposed his giant head onto a small child's body. It was classic.
This week Adam West played an attorney for Benny. I love him. I love that he's working a lot lately, on the Family Guy and a couple of other shows.
I like this show much better than George's standup comedy, which is funny, but too crass and full of profanity for my taste. He's so funny, I think he cheapens himself with the intense, unnecessary profanity.
Just like that show Titus, Lopez makes fun of his abusive, dysfunctional childhood. I can appreciate the gallows humor of coming from that kind of background.

=This week was great, with Tommy Chong and the neighborhood mob went after the sex offender, but let it go when they found out she was a hot woman in her 20s who'd slept with a 15 year old boy.
Best line was George to his friend, Ernie, "You just got shot down by a sex offender. Make some changes, dude!"
George's reactions are always the funniest part of the show, besides George's mom.
Why isn't this show in reruns yet? I want to catch the old ones.
