I know that this is a real oldie but I have always adored "I Dream Of Jeannie" Whenever I am feeling low or I am in a bad mood all i have to do is watch this show to feel better about things.
Barbara Eden portrayed Jeannie with naivety and charm...You just couldn't help but love her. Even though I though that Major Nelson was a jerk and didn't deserve Jeannie, Larry Hagman (JR Ewing from Dallas in the 80's) portrayal made the character likable.
I especially liked the episodes where Barbara Eden played both Jeannie and her sister (evil mischievous) Jeannie. Evil Jeannie was always trying to trade places (and masters) with the good Jeannie and those episode were absolutely the best.

I use to love I dream of Jeannie! Jeannie was always so much fun! I loved all the crazy antics Jeannie would get Major Nelson into and it was always entertaining to watch him trying to get out of them.
My favorite episodes were when her evil sister was in it or that dog, JinJin and it would turn invisible and start tearing up Major Nelson's suits. You could not help but laugh at that. lol

I use to watch this on TVland...It was quite funny!!! I like the episodes were Major Nelson's (Larry Hagman) bestfriend finds out the secret about Jeannie. There are alot of funny scenes between Jeannie and Major Roger Healey.

I loved this show, too. I always loved shows with magic. I adored both I Dream of Jeannie and Bewitched. It's so fun to imagine being able to pop all over and change clothes with a blink of an eye.
I always thought it was too bad that Jeannie was shackled to that narrowed-minded guy. She had so much power and could have had a lot more fun if she was free or at least had a less uptight "master."
The psychiatrist was really funny, since he was always trying to prove that Major Nelson was up to something, but everyone thought he was insane.

How could I forget JinJin! that little dog was so cute and a total terror (at least to guys in uniform). Those were some of the best episodes. I also thought it was funny when Jeannie's sister's master would come to collect her...that old Arab guy chasing the evil Jeannie always made me laugh (no wonder she always wanted to trade places and masters with Jeannie)
