Does anyone remember this series based on a film of the same name starting Christopher Lambert. Highlander: The Series is an English language fantasy/sci-fi television series featuring Duncan MacLeod (Adrian Paul), of the Scottish Clan MacLeod, as the Highlander of the title. An offshoot of the Highlander movies, Highlander: The Series centered on the life of Duncan, who is a clansman to the main character from the movies, Connor MacLeod (Christopher Lambert). Christopher Lambert made a single appearance in the first episode to ensure continuity, but his character was barely mentioned in the rest of the series. The series was a Canada/France co-production that was filmed in both countries. The primary Canadian location was Vancouver, British Columbia. The series became a very popular cult television show, with a strong following years even after production ceased in 1998. Duncan MacLeod... the Highlander. Born in 1592 in the highlands of Scotland, and is an Immortal. For 400 years, he's been a warrior... a lover... a wanderer... constantly facing other Immortals in combat to the death. The winner takes his enemy's head -- and with it, his power. The Watcher, part of a secret society of men and women who observe and record, but never interfere. Know the truth about Immortals - in the end, there can be only one. . Theme Songs: "Princess of the Universe" & "Who Wants to Live Forever" by Queen. I use to watch it and it was pretty good show!!! Anyboy else seen this?

Yep, very late night Friday viewing. My dad and I used to tape it. Have to say the series never had quite the mystique that the movie did, but what I did see was enjoyable fun.
What did it run for in the end? 8 seasons? I never got to see the spin-off from the series though, what was that Raven?

I've only caught this episode inermittently, but I really enjoyed it. I gotta say that it was purely because Adrian Paul was so hot. I loved the sword fighting and how they filmed part of it in Paris.
I never knew how they explained how there were still immortals around after the events of the first Highlander movie. Did they ever explain that? It always bugged me, because Connor MacLeod was supposed to be the last living immortal at the end of the movie.
Has anyone seen Highlander: Endgame? It had both Connor and Duncan fighting together. I loved it! Adrian was even hotter in that.
Man, I wish they'd make Adrian Paul the next James Bond. He'd be the best one of all time!
