So this time around, thank to Vicks, I was able to experience this con first hand. ;D
Must say it was a very interesting experience and something I won't be forgetting any time soon.
The first day was exhausting. Vicks and I spent over 2.5 hours queuing for the registration and literately went through the entire hotel till we got registered. So when last year Vicks complained she was so tired and I thought she was excagerating...well...she wasn't.
We didn't had much on day 1 other than the photoshoot with Jared and Jensen which sadly wasn't as warm and welcoming as they seem to be at US conventions. They were basically sitting on two chairs and each fan went through and had a picture taken (I'd also like to point out no touching was allowed...the best we could do was to lean on the back of their seats). But with that said, it was still neat to see them up and close.
Day 2 was also busy with few stage talks and lots of queuing (not as bad as day 1) for the autographs. Again, all kind of personalization was forbidden but at least we had a chance to briefly talk to each actor. Overall, I was most impressed with Jared, Misha and Samantha who were the nicest while the rest (Jensen included) were more "professional" but never the less nice as well. During this day we also had a group photoshoot which was also kind of "quickly through and done" but the actors did their best to make each picture unique buy having various poses (usually matching the fan on the picture) so that was neat as well.
Now day 3, for me, was the easiest as I just sat thorough stage talks (which were awesome) while Vicks was finishing the remaining of her photoshots. All of the guests were fun to listen to but Misha was the most outstanding one of all with being simply ridiculously funny and a funnily inappropriate some times (particularly at the end when he supposedly got off stage just to garb a Mic later and anonymously ask Malik and Gabriel who of the "brothers" have the biggest "package" ).
Besides stage talk, thanks to Vicks, I also managed to get single photoshoots with Samanthan, Amy and Matt so that was fun. Especially that after the stake talks with Samantha I found out she's a big Tomb Raider fun which made me love her even more. ;D
So overall, it was an awesome weekend and I really can't thank Vicks enough.
I also managed to take few pictures during the stage talks but unfortunately most were just to blurry to post as we weren't allowed flash photography.
Will be sure to scan my photoshoot pictures as well, later on.
Now its up for Vicks to share her point of view.
