I was thinking about the difference in prices here in England compared to the States then I got thinking about the credit crunch here in England. It has now affected my hubbys job and he is the main earner. We dont know from one week to the next if he will have work. He is a bricklayer. It has to come at a time that we have recently purchased a bigger property therefore a bigger mortgage! Typical! Then I hear that the electric prices are going up by 60% !!!!!!! With it coming winter I am like Anyways things are not brilliant money wise but we have never had to be careful in the past (dont want to sound bigheaded) but we have always had what we wanted but now its like we cant and we are even cost-cutting on food. Instead of cathedral city cheese we have been buying Asdas own brand (Vicks will know what I mean ;D) Anyways we have to live week by week and I even managed to do full-time hours last week because of staff sickness. So if shifts come up I will take them, I just dont want to be depending on mother and mother-in-law to look after my son all the time. I am sorry but this has turned into a whine!!!! BTW you wont be getting rid of me that easily because the net connection is bound to a contract but SKY may have to go There are lots of people out there loosing their homes so at the mo I am thinking myself lucky, just hope that the situation doesnt get really really bad! Thanks for listening
