Here is a look at another one of the drawings that I am currently working on. I am doing this drawing mostly as a diversion, a way to clear my thoughts while I work out problems with some of the commissions that I am working on. This drawing features The Ood...One of the more interesting aliens featured on BBC's " Doctor Who" I decided to break with my normal style of drawing and try something different. I am doing this Drawing of the Ood in the Art Nouveau style of the artist "Alphonse Mucha". Art Nouveau was a style of Art that was popular in the late 1800's. As always constructive comments and feedback are always welcomed and appreciated so please let me know what you think.

Heehee.... Cool! I love it! The detail on the Ood is amazing, I love the fact tentacles and the orb-thingy. The red eyes are very piercing and somewhat malevolent. As for the art nouveau style, it brigs a great pizazz to the project as a whole and is very impressive.
Excellent work! ;D

Thanks for the feedback and Awesome comment Vicks. This drawing was really fun to do. I have always loved exploring different Art styles...I do not know why I don't explore different styles more often. Here is the finished drawing...Presenting "Ood Nouveau" I also realized that this is officially the first Alien (Non human) creature I have drawn ;D As always constructive comments and feedback are appreciated so Please let me know what you think. Absolutely amazing. I think that this style would work well with some of your more human subjects too, especially if you cannot decide on a background. As a first non-human this Ood is great. Bang on and the detail is amazing. Fantastic work Scotty! ;D
