The next project that I am working on is a commission drawing for Sammie. The Drawing is of Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger (Rupert Grint and Emma Watson) from the "Harry Potter" series of movies. So far I have done the initial sketch of Ron Weasley looking dismayed by his broken wand. Next I will add Hermione Granger in the background looking confident and holding her Magical Theory book. As always constructive comments and criticisms are welcomed and appreciated...so Please let me know what you think.

Absolutely Fantastic, Scotty!! I love the expressions on their faces and the broken wand is just priceless!!! I'm not a huge HP fan, but you've captured their characters wonderfully. you've done a particularly spot on job with Ron's nose.. which is rather interestingly shaped in real life. Bravo!! Another winner, I'm sure Sammie will be thrilled!!

They look great! I especially love Hermione, since I can't stand Ron as a character.
I love her face. Her eyes look so mischievious! Great likenesses on both of them.

Here is an update to the Ron and Hermione drawing. Here I have started the color blocking and details on Hermione's portrait and hair. I have decided to do the background colors rustic and earthy to keep the essence of the H Potter movies. As alway constructive comments and criticisms are welcomed and appreciated so Please let me know what you think ;D

I really love the Ron likeness, you've captured him very well. I do think he's slightly too red in the face, but that's just a nit pick (and maybe i only notice it when comparing to Hermione's skin tone) . I love how you've given their ties such a nice gloss effect and the shading is brilliant (especially on Ron's hair). + i really like the crooked line around the background color, it looks like old burned (green) paper. I think this might just turn out to be one of your best drawings, could i commision more? Also, i had a question, i really want to show this proudly to some friends on a different forum, am i allowed to post it there? I would ofcourse link to your site and tell them you made it. I understand if you don't want me to though. So just let me know

I understand if you don't want me to though. So just let me know I am so glad that you are pleased with the drawing so far ;D Not to fear the scan made Ron's skin tone darker than it actually is; also there is a lot more detail to do on Hermione's portrait (aside from the obvious). I still plan to add a lot more detail to her hair and a few more color shadows on the face. I had to nearly complete Ron's portrait and background before I could finalize Hermione's Portrait. That way the two portraits will compliment one another instead of looking "Pieced together". I am always available for more commissions send me a PM and we can talk about the possibilities. Sammie I would have no problem with you showing this drawing on another forum. That would be Awesome I do ask however that you wait untill the drawing is finished before showing it outside this forum. When you do post it elsewhere, please use a low resolution and of course Link the drawing to my web site. ;D I am curious...When you commissioned this drawing of Ron and Hermione, Why did you choose to leave Harry out of the drawing? Others have asked me this question...so...Inquiring minds want to know
