I am a huge fan of British Horror author Graham Masterton. You cannot get shelf space over here in the UK unless you name is King or Rice, but Graham writes these and similar authors into the ground. You can get Graham's books via Amazon and if you live in the US direct from Leisure Books. Graham's Horror back catalogue is some 70 odd books, he also writes the odd Thriller, Young Adult (which are also really enjoyable for Adults), Epic/Romance and Sex Instruction Manuals. Graham also wrote 2 humour books in 1977 entitled "Confessions of a Wanton Waitress" and "Confessions of a Racy Receptionist". I'd like to stress at this point I really do not collect the sex books! Honest. Graham's topic include Vampires, Indian legends, Wendigo's, Ghosts, Hauntings etc, his books are always a fantastic read and I'd recommend him to anyone who fancies a darn good read, but beware, they are often not for the faint of heart. Graham has a website at: www.grahammasterton.co.uk Graham also has a message board where he corresponds to fans regularly and runs competitions (of which I have won several), he is also a top bloke. Any virgin readers are recommended: - Prey,
- Black Angel,
- Family Portrait,
- Any of the Night Warriors books (Night Warriors, Death Dream, Night Plague, Night Wars, although stand alone I'd recommend reading them in the order given),
- The Devil in Grey.
I am sure everyone can find something they'd like and I thoroughly recommend you give Graham a try. Oh, and if you do happen to stop by his message board, tell him Vicks sent you!

I really recommend Clive Cussler.
His Heroes are Dirk Pitt, Kurt Austin.
In Dirk Pitt series Dirk raise the Titanic, survives waling in Saraha etc. Also Dirk Pitt collects classic cars same with Clive Cussler.
Clive Cussler even shows up in the Dirk Pitt novels you never know where Clive will be in the book.
Kurt Austin and his team Does things that the Government can't do or wont touch. He Finds Christopher Columbus. Kurt collects old fashion guns that he buys when on his assignments
