Ok, there's already a thread on the BTVSFIGS forum for that matter, but I feel more confortable posting here anyway ( Even though I already bitched about that awful news ) I am SO SAD! For once, I thought DST was finally achieving something really cool with that wave! I mean we were getting 4 different characters ( And one was made to be built, meaning profits for DST ) So what happened there? Too much bitching from some people? Lack of pre-orders? Manufacturer's f*@%#k ups? If DST is going thru the same shit MAC did with the Buffy/ Angel series, I hope another company is going to take over and bring that line alive again. If DST keeps making figures, they must have that wave released! We, as powerless as we are, need to find a way to make this happen before it's too late! Guys, you want those figs or what?

I think the Buffy series is going to pieces. After the Angel/Fred line, I really became upset with the lack of quality these figures were getting. Looking at LOST, and other series action figures the detail is amazing, but BtVS/Angel really just lacked that amazing likness and quality control.
DST's Star Gate series is amazing, and I don't understad why Buffy couldn't have had the same detail? It looked like the Oz/Dru/Wood line was going to be a good one, but after Buffy/Dawn and the bumps wth Xander/Cordelia, I think some people are going to not risk the pre-orders and wait until they are out.

Is it for sure canceled? I feel like I've missed something... Is there a press release or anything?

Is it for sure canceled? I feel like I've missed something... Is there a press release or anything? So far no official press release has been issued. The only word from DST is that they are taking the Buffy line in a new direction and that surprises will be revealed at Toy Fair, so as far as we know the line isn't cancelled but may be in the process of being re-worked.

Subsequent reports have said that DST is just changing their mix for the Dru/Oz/Wood line. I think that might mean that they are changing how many of each figure will be released. Maybe that means that there won't be chase figures, or there will be more chase figures in each batch. They basically said that they are changing the mix.

I hope they continue to make the line and give us some new Drus and Oz. I wanted to get a couple of those for customs.
Omg! Some of these look so amazing! I love the statue of willow floating! That statue of buffy dusting a vampire is very cool too! Vampire Dru looks kind of crazy. Her eyes are a little too intense. She usually looks more pretty in vampire mode but I love her new dollie. Omg, that gold cross is Gorgeous! I wonder how much it'll be. lol, I want it.

I LOVE the statues. The willow one is stunning. I might have to give up collecting figures and just go for the statues now. The new PF Buffy in the red trousers looks pretty cool too. I might need to get a second job or win the lottery.

Although the line isn't cancelled it sure makes me wonder what is happening with the 6" figure line altogther. I was expecting them to announce an line after the Drusilla/Oz/Wood one at Toyfare, although there are a few more days it looks as though they are switching to this revamped line. I wish that DST themselves would tell us what is going on.
