JourneymanI saw this last night.... I found it to be quite boring because the main actor is so wooden and flatline....the concept of him trying to change people lives by time travel is some what like Quamtum Leap and the show had some okay stuff but that actor is so not selling me on the main character...I find my self dosing off alot TVLike Rating ** I also agree I couldn't stay awake either (and I tried to give it a chance ) prediction... I checked out Moonlight out of curiousity. It seemed pretty cheesey to me. I can't help but compare it to Angel and it definitely pales in comparison.
The lead actor wasn't that interesting. He didn't have much strength or presence. The writing was mediocre, with only a couple of bright spots. Vampire #1: I'm the only one who doesn't like you for your money. Vampire #2: I know. I know. It's true!
I don't think it was horrible, just cliche and not very interesting. There's nothing original or fascinating about it. It also really reminded me of that Lifetime vampire show, as well: Similar bad production values and slow pace.
I might give it another try, but I think it will be cancelled within six episodes.
Did anyone else see it?

Kitchen NightmaresFor me this show was revealing and funny. British Import Chef Gordon Ramsey (Hell's Kitchen) stars in this American version of BBC's "Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares". Chef Ramsay goes into a failing restaurant and offers advice to the owner on how to turn things around. In the episode I saw Ramsay went into a Indian restaurant located in Manhattan and exposed situations that would make you think twice before dining out again. everything from the annoying to the extremely gross. Bad wait staff, roaches, mold putrid food etc....needless to say Gordon Ramsay's legendary boisterous demeanor was in full force and he let them have it. In the end he straightened out the restaurant into a respectable place. I am not into reality shows at all and there are only one or two that I will tolerate but Ramsay's rantings were funny, well deserved and made this reality show fun to watch. One thing about this show that to me is scary...is that it is true and some of the horrors that Chef Ramsay uncovers will made you reconsider dining out again...Because the thing that goes through my mind is How many restaurants that I have eaten at are like the one in this show? I predict that this show will be a HitI give it ***1/2 out of 5 stars. Has anyone else watched? what do you think?

Pushing Daisies
I watched the premiere of Pushing Daisies Wednesday night and I have to say that I enjoyed it very much. The whole premise is bizarre and morbidly funny and presented with a "Modern Fairy Tale" flavor. This show is funny, thought provoking, has a great cast with great chemistry; witty duologue and if ABC will give the show time to find it's audience then I think it could be a Hit...I know I will be watching ;D
my prediction...HIT rating ****1/2
SPOILER ALERT>>>
the storyline goes that a young boy (Ned) finds out that he has the power to bring dead things back to life (animals, plants, people etc...) to do this he only has to touch the dead thing and they are alive...here is the catch... if he touches them again they are dead again forever and to further complicate things if the revived dead stay alive for more than one minute then something/ someone else dies in their place (Karmic justice).
as a child Ned's Dog died; he touched the dog; and poof the dog is alive again...a minute passes and a near by squirrel dies... that is how Ned learns about his strange gift....so now Ned's dog will stay alive as long as Ned doesn't touch the dog and so on...
Later Ned's Mom drops dead...Ned of course touches her and she is alive...a minute passes and then his best friend and first love's (Chuck) father drops dead. Ned feels guilty about this and doesn't tell chuck that he was the cause. and then in a twist of fate... that night Ned's mom kisses Ned on the forehead while Ned is asleep and she drops dead again..
fast forward to the present...
Ned now owns a pie shop where he and his dog (still alive) work and live. Ned accidentally performs his resurrection ability in front of a detective. The detective then gets Ned to go into a partnership with him...they find murder victims bring them back to life...ask the dead who killed them, make them dead again and then Ned and his partner collect the reward for solving the case.
on one of their cases Ned finds that the victim is his childhood sweetheart Chuck...who he brings back to life...and then can not bring himself to touch her again so she lives (and the funeral director dies)....so now Ned and Chuck live together (In Love) and can never touch one another ever (Ned also hides the secret that he accidentally caused Chuck's father's death).
that is the basic set up ...Ned, Chuck and the partner go around waking the dead, making them dead again and solving murder cases for the reward.
End Of Spoilers
I apologize for the spoilers but it is hard to explain this show without the set up
Did anyone else watch? What did you think ...Hit or Miss?

[glow=red,2,300]And The First Cancelled show of this season is...[/glow]
Viva Laughlin
As reported by the Associated Press...
LOS ANGELES - The music has stopped for “Viva Laughlin,” an offbeat song-and-dance drama that drew such low ratings it was canceled by CBS after two airings.
Even having film star Hugh Jackman (“X-Men”) aboard as executive producer and cast member couldn’t save the series. It was the second cancellation of the young season, after CW’s “Online Nation,” and the first scripted show to be yanked.
“Viva Laughlin,” based on the hit British series “Viva Blackpool,” debuted last Thursday with 8.4 million viewers — a pittance compared to the 21.2 million viewers that watched the CBS show preceding it, top-rated “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation
