Basically, Monica and Chandler connected with a young, pregnant woman to adopt her child. When it was born, she had twins. They were a boy and a girl. They name the girl Erika, after the babies' mom, and the boy Jack after Monica's dad. The Bings bought a house outside the city, too. They moved in the finale.
Rachel decided to move to Paris and take baby Emma. At the last minute, Ross goes to the airport to stop her and tell her he wants to be with her. Of course, the plane doors are closed. I can't remember what happened then, sorry.
When Ross gets home there is a message from Rachel, saying she's going to try to get off the plane. He says, "Did you get off the plane? Did you get off the plane?" to the answer machine.
Then he hears her voice at the door: "I got off the plane."
Ah! They're finally together!
Also, Phoebe's new husband Mike tells her that he wants kids, also.
They didn't want to close Joey's story, because they planned to have the Joey show deal with his move to LA. Friends left him in the same apartment still working at Days of Our Lives.
Does anyone else remember the details of what happened with Ross and Rachel at the airport?

Ross and Phoebe chase Rachel to the airport, but end up at the wrong one. They narrowly make it to the right airport, where Ross declares his love for Rachel, but she gets on the plane anyway. A rejected Ross returns home, where he finds a message on his answering machine, revealing that Rachel got off the plane, just as the real thing shows up behind him. They decide to be together. Thanks Pedro!
I completely forgot that part. I have seen most of the seasons many times, but I only ever saw the finale the first time it aired.
It always bugged me how long they drew out the Ross and Rachel thing. I was so sick of them. I kind of thought she would have been better with Joey, anyway. They seemed more alike in temperament.

I have every Season on DVD but still haven't gotten around to watching every episode. The cast is just so funny. Rachel is so beautiful and Pheobe and Joey were just so hilarious. It is definately a great show to watch.

I think the cast was smart to NOT follow Joey onto a series. I see the series as ending with F.R.I.E.N.D.S I don't consider the Joey series to really be part of the whole Friends world. A Phoebe spin-off would have been enjoyable and I think she is the only one who could have held her own, though a family comedy with Monica and Chandler would have worked too.
