I have been debating it for some time and I finally came to a decision... A while back prohecygirl asked me to build a website of my prototype figures. I must stress it is a very amateurish attempt, it needs redoing, some of the photos are really dodgy and I have loads to upload, its just been on the back burner for a while. Since you are all lovely folk here I thought I would share. Anyway, if you want to peruse here is the link: www.freewebs.com/madvicks/

oh my lordy....how and where the hell did you find all these figures...Iv never seen half of these ever...didnt even know they exsisted!!! the steel proto-types! whoa....and the half painted cheer cordy!!! really cool in a wierd way.
Do you have any close up photos of the faces....the cordy faces seem to have much bigger eyes and more black around the eyes...do you have closer photos? and how different is the MAC short hair buffy head mold (the one by itself wiht no body) paint job wise to the released figure.
Im really intrigued seeing as I didnt even know the majority of these are out there!
cheers for the link...and great effort...website is really easy to look at and work your way through it.

Oh wow, Vicks, you've been busy. Great collection, well done! How much did all of that cost you?

Can't wait to see it all up there, Vicks. I know you beat me out of an IKON prototype or two.. so I'm anxious to see those. Do you have any ornament protos? I have a Human Spike ornament that doesn't have his name on it. I spoke to Mark at Cinequest and he told me thought it was a counter sample or something. Do you have any ideas? I also have a Just Rewards unpainted Spike proto. It's packaged and grey. It has writing on it. "New Blister". That's it for me and protos.

I never knew that half of these existed either. You have an extensive collection, I hope you are able to get the ones that you need to complete it. The website was easy to follow even for the likes of me! I have signed your guestbook. Ali x

Thank you for the nice comments. I intend to try and get the IKON stuff up within the next couple of days as I have what I believe is the only full set of Ikon Maroon and Blue shirt Angel and Vampire and Bloody Vampire Spikes. If you want the truth I have probably another 50-100 figures etc to go up on the site, but it just hit the back burner. Thank you also for signing the guest book! I'll try and answer your questions in turn: oh my lordy....how and where the hell did you find all these figures...Iv never seen half of these ever...didnt even know they exsisted!!! the steel proto-types! whoa....and the half painted cheer cordy!!! really cool in a wierd way. Do you have any close up photos of the faces....the cordy faces seem to have much bigger eyes and more black around the eyes...do you have closer photos? and how different is the MAC short hair buffy head mold (the one by itself wiht no body) paint job wise to the released figure. Well, I got hold of the figures from different places, some via eBay, some did not even hit eBay I snapped them up beforehand. Basically though, they all come from ex-MAC employees in one way or another. Close ups I can try and do, some in the blisters can be really difficult to do because of the glare and I have also ascertained my camera does not give good quality pictures on the zoom. But I'll have a go. The Buffy 2 head mold has a better paint job than the final figures as you'd expect being mold, it is also larger so they could make castings from it. I reckon the hair is slightly different too, more detailed in the styling. How much did all of that cost you? Somewhere in the region of $4000 I would say. Can't wait to see it all up there, Vicks. I know you beat me out of an IKON prototype or two.. so I'm anxious to see those. Do you have any ornament protos? I have a Human Spike ornament that doesn't have his name on it. It has writing on it. "New Blister". That's it for me and protos. Oooh, sorry! I have a handful of ornament prototypes, but I packed them safe in the loft and now cannot find the blasted things. I also have full sized bust counter samples that need to go up on the site too. As far as Spike goes, yes, a few counter samples escaped in the regular batch of Spike ornaments, some from sales directly from MAC, some via retailers like CineQuest. I have heard of 2 others apart from yours I believe, though no one knows for sure how it happened. Take stock that you have a nice find there. A Factory Counter Sample btw, is a limited run that the factory produce to send to the company for approval, they are usually unnumbered and have a higher quality paint job than the regular retail run. How long have you been collecting? I think its about 4 years or so.

Nope, I don't... Main reason is my room and indeed our house isn't right to have display cabinets and stuff out. I am planning on getting a Buffy room when I get my own house. As a consequence my official release stuff is boxed and in the loft. My preproduction stuff well, some of the carded stuff is stacked by me bed in my room, other carded protos are in the loft boxed, the loose ones are in a large plastic box wrapped in bubble wrap in my wardrobe. I currently have pre-production and prototype ornaments, busts and 2 Gentlemen carded figures AWOL in the loft. I'll find them eventually!

lol. Its good that you are keeping them safe for when you get your house. I have 2 spare rooms in the basement. I could move all my stuff downstairs into one.. but i know that I LOVE looking at it all the time. Plus I dont think my parents would quite approve

Cheers for the info. on the Spike ornament, Vicks! I'm going to look at him closer now to see if the paint difference is really noticeable between him and the regular one.
And now that you mention it.. I think you beat me out of that Maroon Shirt Angel!!! LOL! Your collection must be overwhelming!! WOW!

I have uploaded all but one photo into the IKON section of the website.I haven't spell checked or proof read so any mistakes can someone let me know? Ta and enjoy! BTW does anyone know how I can either make my website wider (?) or upload clickable images from Photobucket when using Freewebs?

By the looks of it, the site you chose is a template. I'm not sure that you can edit it =/
The only way that you will have clickable images is to have a thumbnail. You would need to set it up so that the small picutre is clicked on and then opens in a new window to show the larger version. That being said, some people have pop-up blockers....
