Whats the difference between CSI Las Vegas and Miami?
Obviously the locations and cast. But what makes people watch both shows?

Different leads, Gil has a very different approach with his team and LV is somewhat more violent. Miami has more fashionable crimes (bank heists, murder of glamor girls, drug and people trafficking etc), the Miami CSI's are somewhat more human and fallible, take Ryan Wolf, he had a really dodgy year last season and the show is written somewhat tongue in cheek due to David Caruso's lead. Plus Miami was the first of the franchise to kill off a main character (Tim Speedle) to show that not all of them will be around or make it.
I watched Vegas as the show was the one to draw me in and I liked the characters and the story arcs. Miami viewing has been on and off (I dip in here and there, and am not fussed if I miss the show) and purely for the mickey take of David Caruso.
