Girl PowerIf you could be any superhero, who would you be and why? I would like to be on "Smallville" as an established DC character that comes to Smallville . I would be Green Lantern (Kyle Rayner). In the comics Kyle Rayner is a struggling artist who is pushed reluctantly into greatness by inheriting the Green Lantern Power ring. Clark could help him come to terms with his new power and responsibilities of the ring...(I know that strays away from the actual Green lantern story but that has never stopped Smallville before) Plus it would be awesome to work with Tom Welling ;D So did you just think of this answer, or is this something you've thought about before? After I read your answer, I thought I'd like to be Clark's shirt, because then I'd get to cuddle his chest all day. But then I remember that his shirt always get ripped or burned or something to facilitate him having to take it off so we get one of the famous "gratuitious shirtless Tom Welling scenes." Given the event of the season finale, and assuming that Lana is still alive, how do you think the show will write Lana and Clark's relationship so that he finally gets over her and can open his heart to Lois? Will she die? Will she get amnesia and forget she loved him? Will she decide that she hates him because he's the reason her parents died? I've so been wondering what they will do. What do you think? In a similar vein, how do you think they'll get Clark to wear that silly suit? It's so not Clark. They never showed or mentioned the blankets from his space ship, as early mythology had the suit made from. And, BTW, how do you think that Martha Kent was able to sew through fabric that can't be torn or burnt? Who do you think played the best Lex Luthor? Gene Hackman, Kevin Spacey, or Michael Rosenbaum? Who is your all time favorite villian from any show or movie? What villian would you most want to have a romantic rendevous with? What TV or movie character's style do you most admire? Who do you hope our next president will be? Do you think Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone? What's your favorite Shakespearan play? Movie based on a play? What qualities do you look for in a friend? Honesty, straight forwardness, someone who has a sharp sense of humor, self sufficient, easy going and most of all someone who puts up with all my crap What is your "crap"? Now you have me curious! Back in the late 80's early 90's I helped a very good friend establish an A.I.D.S charity. The charity helped people living with the disease regain some of their dignity and self respect in an age when they were considered outcasts and were forgotten by and bogged down in Government red tape. The charity provided food, assistance with their bills, someone to talk to and even pocket cash...anything that they needed to feel some sense of normality at a time when hopes were bleak. That's really fantastic that you did that. How long did it last? Where was it located?

So did you just think of this answer, or is this something you've thought about before? I just thought of the answer after reading your question ;DGiven the event of the season finale, and assuming that Lana is still alive, how do you think the show will write Lana and Clark's relationship so that he finally gets over her and can open his heart to Lois? In the comics Superman/Clark is still close to Lana Lang but his romantic feelings shifted to Lois. In the Comics both Clark and Lana have moved on. If they are smart the writer's of Smallville will follow the led of the comic book and somehow write that into the script. Will she die? I don't think that the producers of Smallville or DC comics for that matter will let them kill her...plus die-hard Superman fans would be outraged Will she get amnesia and forget she loved him? Will she decide that she hates him because he's the reason her parents died? I've so been wondering what they will do. What do you think? I think that Lana will decide to leave Smallville and after a long (over done ) heart wrenching "It's not you it's me" or "I'm not right for you" speech (Angel to Buffy in Graduation Day anyone?) she will leave. After which a heartbroken Clark will gradually follow his feelings (already hinted at last season) and fall for Lois.
Clark wasn't the reason Lana's parents died...the meteors produced by the explosion of the Planet Krypton was...surely Lana wouldn't hold a baby/Clark responsible for a natural disaster. In a similar vein, how do you think they'll get Clark to wear that silly suit? It's so not Clark. They never showed or mentioned the blankets from his space ship, as early mythology had the suit made from. Not too sure about this one...as for the Blankets... with what I have read about Supergirl's appearance in Smallville and that she was originally sent to to earth to take care of baby Clark (but got detained) maybe Supergirl will have the blanket's and will give them to Clark as a heirloom from his parents.as much as I would love to see Clark actually wear the Super suit I have a gut feeling that the producers will side step this (since in the beginning they have said that Clark would not be in the costume or fly)...I will go out on a limb here and predict that the final scene of the show will be Clark ripping open his shirt (in the classic Clark to Superman pose) revealing the suit...fade to blackAnd, BTW, how do you think that Martha Kent was able to sew through fabric that can't be torn or burnt? Not sure of this either...I am not sure that this was addressed in the comics either...maybe Clark fashioned a sewing machine needle out of a piece of the ship and was thus able to penetrate the fabric with metal that was from Krypton and as for thread she just un raveled a section of the balnket...I am curious also how the show will address this issue also (that is if they don't ignore it all together)Who do you think played the best Lex Luthor? Gene Hackman, Kevin Spacey, or Michael Rosenbaum? I loved Gene Hackman but...I think that Kevin Spacey was/is the best Lex LuthorWho is your all time favorite villain from any show or movie? The Riddler from Batman (1960's)What villain would you most want to have a romantic rendezvous with? Angelus from "Buffy the Vampire Slayer"What TV or movie character's style do you most admire? Ferris BeullerWho do you hope our next president will be? I am not big into politics...but...Hopefully the next president will be someone better than the Moron/Idiot that currently holds the positionDo you think Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone? Not sure...I was only 2 at the time so I didn't give much thought about it...but there are good compelling arguments on both sidesWhat's your favorite Shakespearean play? Not a big Shakespeare fan but I did enjoy the movie "Romeo + Juliet" (starring Leonardo D'Caprio and Claire Danes)Movie based on a play? "Torch Song Trilogy" by Harvey FiersteinWhat is your "crap"? Now you have me curious! Figuratively...the day to day melodrama that is my life That's really fantastic that you did that. How long did it last? Where was it located? Thanks Maria, The charity still exists today...my contribution was minor compared to some of the others in the group but it was still a highlight and honor for me to have helped. The founder who's name was Marvin Davis was the real driving force for the charity. He took a small group of friends and made something quite wonderful that still today, helps many people. ...The charity was originally known as "The Lady Victoria Lust PWA Holiday fund" when the charity earned it's Government (501) (3) (c) status, the name was changed to "PWA Holiday Charities" and operates out of Houston, Texas Because of Time conflicts and work related issues, I left the organization shortly after it's founder and my good friend Marvin (Lady Victoria Lust) passed away (early 90's). He passed the torch to Don Gill (another good friend of mine) who still runs the organization today

Clark wasn't the reason Lana's parents died...the meteors produced by the explosion of the Planet Krypton was...surely Lana wouldn't hold a baby/Clark responsible for a natural disasterThanks for the great answers! I thought that the meteor shower was a result of the meteor rocks emcasing Clark's ship dislodging as the ship came close to the earth, as was the case with the second meteor shower. And the meteors were designed to camouflage Clark's ship's descent to the earth. I've heard Clark say before that the meteor shower happened because he came to earth. He has blamed himself for Lana's parents dying, even though Martha and Jonathon assured him that he was an innocent child and had no control over it. Didn't Lana blame him for causing her parents death in his dream in the episode when he was exposed to the virus from Luther Corp? I think that's a great idea about the blankets. Maybe Super Girl will have the whole suit intact. I had never heard that the producers said that Clark wouldn't fly. That sucks. I really want him to fly! Plus, he flew Lana out of the Fortress of Solitude, didn't he? Anyway, thanks for the awesome answers. I don't know much about the comics, so I'm always interested in the history.

What has been the best part of being "under the magnifying glass" here as a suspect? The worst? What would your dream vacation be? If I came to your town to visit, where would you take me? What question would you NEVER answer? What's your favorite musical? What one item could you never live without? If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
PS-I think it's awesome that you founded that charity! You are an amazing person!

Marvin just channeled all of those talents into a positive force that became the Charity... It was a very enlightening experience but My friend Marvin was the real "Amazing" person behind the whole Charity. Marvin was a truly magnificent person ;D
