Welcome to "Who Are You?" Suspect Interview number 4 with....
GERRY
I'm looking forward to delving into the mind of Gerry! NCIS fan, purveyor of Internet oddities, trivia fan and worthy opponent. In his own words, Gerry is 29, born and raised in Salt Lake City, UT. Now living in the greater Seattle area. Going to school when I have a chance. Otherwise working, playing video games and marathoning TV shows on DVD. Here we go: 1. Favourite Buffy episode? 2. Favourite Angel episode? 3. Favourite Buffy/Angel figure? 4. Favourite video game? 5. Which storyline on Buffy and/or Angel did you hate and would change? Why? 6. Favourite film? 7. Favourite book and/or author? 8. Do you own cuddly/stuffed toys? And do you have a favourite? 9. Which show would you love to guest star in and why? 10. Why did you decide to join this forum (I mean besides Pedro's charm and wit!)? 11. Favourite NCIS character? 12. What's with the username? I take it is your name so did you not fancy anything else? This thread runs until Saturday, 5th August 2007.

Here we go:
1. Favourite Buffy episode? 2. Favourite Angel episode? 3. Favourite Buffy/Angel figure? 4. Favourite video game? 5. Which storyline on Buffy and/or Angel did you hate and would change? Why? 6. Favourite film? 7. Favourite book and/or author? 8. Do you own cuddly/stuffed toys? And do you have a favourite? 9. Which show would you love to guest star in and why? 10. 1) I think my favorite Buffy episode is Fool For Love It is one of the few times that Buffy has to admit she's not all powerful. 2) My favorite Angel episode is probably Dear Boy The dialog between Angel and Darla at the end is great. I haven't watched the later seasons in a while, so my favorite episode may change 3) My favorite figure is either the regular Darla figure, or the first MAC Spike figure. 4) Favorite video game is either Fallout or Half-Life. I can't decide 5) For Angel it would have to be Cordelia love story. To me it seemed to go against the theme of the show. It was a lot better to watch Angel brood over his past than pine for a girl. Along the same lines, It was the Spike and Buffy fling. I liked how they had Buffy in "freak-out" in first episode in Season 2 a lot more than in Season 6. 6) There are way too many movies to even try and pick a favorite. Some of my top are: The first Star Wars trilogy, Alien, Dirty Dozen, and Serenity. 7)My favorite book is Ender's Game. I read it in the 7th or 8th grade for the first time and now reread it about once a year. It's an easy book to read and can get it done in about a weekend. My favorite author is Mark Bowden. He is a journalist that novelizes real events. He is the one that wrote Black Hawk Down. 8) I have a ton of stuffed polar bears in the closet at my mom's house. I would have to go through and see which one is which before I could pick a favorite 9) I would like to guest star in Firefly. Because that would mean that they would have to make more episodes. 10) I joined this forum because it seemed a natural progression. First it started with the MAC forum, then the Buffy figs forum, and now I'm here. 11) There is no possible way to decide which NCIS character is my favorite. The show works so well because of the group dynamic. 12) I use my name because it's easier for me to remember. It's kind of like the idea that if you could have picked your own name, what would it have been. I could never come up with one.

I like Social Distortion and I think his solo country stuff is great 2) Does Nathan Fillion count as outside? He is my all time favorite. I also like Bruce Campbell a lot and I will give anything with Johnny Depp in it a chance. Actresses I really like Joan Allen and Kate Beckinsale. I also have a thing for Dina Meyer. 3) Never had a role model. I have met some people that I don't want to be like, kinda an anti-rolemodel. 4) My favorite song is The Blood of Cu Chulainn by Mychael Danna 5) My favorite cartoon growing up was probably The Thundercats. Lately I loved Sealab 2021 and anime is Neon Genesis Evangelion and Initial D 6) I used to read comics. I can't afford them any more. I generally followed artists and writers more than titles. Some of the artists I liked were Michael Turner, J. Scott Campbell, Joe Madureira, and Greg Land. Writers I liked were Kevin Smith, Garth Ennis, Jeff Loeb, and Alan Moore. I also really like Frank Miller and Frank Cho. 7) I do like the X-men. I think my favorite one was Psylocke. 8) I like two types of scary movies, the ones that are actually scary and the ones where you are rooting for the bad guy to win. Of the real ones: Alien is at the top. A little known movie called Hardware scared the crap out of me too. For the latter: Pumpkinhead. 9) I always have to pick batman as my favorite superhero. Not only is he a hero, but he's a detective and scientist as well.

What would you consider your most freaky ability? (i.e. roll eyes backwards, touch your noise with you foot and so on...) 1) The shows that are currently airing that I watch are: Monk, Psych, and Painkiller Jane. For the fall: NCIS, House, Lost, Heroes, Stargate, The Unit, Earl, BattleStar, and Bones Shows I have to download: Doctor Who, Dexter and Torchwood DVD: Criminal Minds, JAG, and soon Dead Zone 2) 5 facts: a) I have a BS in Environmental Psychology b) The longest I have gone without sleep is two and a half days c) I am diabetic d) The only cavity I ever had fell out (baby tooth) e) I have totalled two cars in my driving career. 3) I really don't have much of a collection any more. I also don't have much of emotional attachment to what I do have. That being said, I have some Angel autograph cards that would be hard to sell. 4) My entire left thumb can shift forward almost 3/4 of an inch. I can also make my head vibrate really fast (though it gives me a headache)

Thank you for the compliment I like Dexter it mixes procedure (CSI) and drama (Law and Order) together perfectly that you both think it's cool when they are at the crime scene and care about their personal life. As much as I like CSI and Law and Order, they both focus on the one element and forgo the other I really like the character of Dexter. A serial killer who's MO is other killers is amazing I live alone in a basement apartment. My landlords live above me though I have a Subaru that I have had for close to a decade now. Love my car. Nope, I'm not dating anybody right now, girls are way too expensive I have to take two pills a day for my diabetes. No shots, thank god I was only diagnosed with diabetes in January, so I am still adjusting. When somebody is taking your order, it is strangely hard to say "diet coke" when you have been saying "coke" for so long. For work, my technical title is Software Test Associate. Basically I play a video game for 8 hours a day and look for mistakes in them. My biggest fear is not having a way out, physically. Any situation that I am in and can't get out sends a little shiver down my spine. As well, I am not scared of, but I hate ladders and everything in the bee family. The person that I am closet to on the forum is probably shivi. I love your questions, it creates a nice situation of self reflection. I had to sit back and think of what I was afraid of. Never really considered if before. I can't remember to invited me. I think I may have crashed it. Qualifications? Qualified for what?

Adam West, Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer, Geroge Clooney, or Christian Bale? 1) Evil Dead: Masterpiece because it's a pure fun spoof 2) Bruce Campbell vs. The Army of Darkness is the best of the three 3) I watch them back to back to back, so all the Star Wars movies are like one big long single movie to me. 4) My favorite thundercat was Panthero, because he had the coolest weapon. 5) I had a little one, like when the sword was the dagger. I had a button on it that would light up the symbol and make a growl noise. I put a hole in the drywall with that thing 6) Pumpkinhead is great because it is a party movie. It is one of those movies that you throw on when you have a group of friends over with nothing to do. You never care if somebody talks over it, and it always give you something to joke about. I am still sure I haven't heard half the dialog. 7) Ever see Bubba Hotep? That is Bruce at his finest. Brisco County Jr. was great as well. 8) I don't think there has been a good Batman yet. But of the actors that have played him, Christian Bale was the closest to how I remember The Batman.

Favorite Le Tigre song? What time do you wake up in the morning? What other kinds of music do you listen to? Favorite Kirsten Dunst movie? I don't really have a favorite Le Tigre song, I generally listen to the entire album at once. But the first song I heard was TKO when they were on Conan, so that kinda sticks out. My morning alarm goes off at 6:45. Sometimes I am already awake by then. Us old people have to pee often. . . I listen to everything with the exception of Easy Listening and Pop music (Pop Rock, Pop Country, Pop Dance, etc.) Past that it depends on the band. Favorite Kirsten Dunst movie is probably Drop Dead Gorgeous. That was her in it right? If not, then it's Interview with the Vampire.

You find a lamp, give it a rub and a genie pops out, what 3 things do you wish for (besides health, wealth and world peace, those are cop outs!)? The worst Batman villian was Mr. Freeze. I never saw the movie. Him in the trailers was enough for me to skip it. Best Line: Good? Bad? I'm the guy with the gun! Strangely enough, that line doesn't appear in the directors cut of Army of Darkness. 1) Immortality 2) The ability to manipulate time 3) An easy way to keep my bathroom and kitchen clean. Speaking of which. . .
