Since I have loads to write about I am going to split the weekend into 2 days and make two different posts.
Saturday
Saturday started really well. Parked about 9:15am and as we were getting ready to get out of the car, a car pulled up next to us with none other than Tony Head in the back!
I was getting things out of my boot when Tony got out of the car, Tony looked over at me so I said "Morning Mr Head! Crazed fan will be mobbing you later!". Tony gave me a nice smile and walked towards his escort. I got the rest of my stuff from my car and started to walk towards the con entrance. Tony by this time had gone back to his car, collected his guitar and was walking back so I was behind him, he gave my this really boyish and cute grin, which was cool!
On one of the trips back from the car, Anthony Montgomery from Enterprise was walking into the con and I was behind him and then walking next to him, he started talking to me and asked if I was going to have fun, I said I hoped so. He was so grounded and down to earth.
Tony Head
Tony is always gracious and sweet and today was no different, He really has time for you and doesn't race you off.
Tony loves the MAC Fyraal Demon Giles bust and the DST figure, but he doesn't like Season 7 Giles at all. Tony didn't even know they were being made and said that S7 Giles looked more like Xander than him, he also had a good look at the card and said he was going to find out what happened during the production of the figure.
Tony also said that he knew my mom and I had met him before but couldn't remember our names. Given the amount of people he has met, I think its amazing he remembers at all!
Tony did personalised signatures and posed photos during the queue.
Later on during the photoshoot Tony also asked me if I had arranged for the parking place next to him, and I told him it was pure chance. He also gave me a massive hug, which was cool!
Brandon Routh
The guy is totally gorgeous in the flesh but I have to say I was really disappointed with his manner. I had 4 signatures off him and I got approx. 20 seconds of his time and a "Hi" from the top of his head!
Brandon did personalised signatures but no posed photos. In fact photos of him when you were queuing where not only frowned upon but you had the feeling you were holding up the proceedings even though there were folks in front of you.
During the photoshoot, I was the second photo with Brandon and I got a "Hi" on entry and a "Thanks" as I left.
James Marsters
Despite having a mammoth queue, James was absolutely fantastic and a total star! (Him and Tony are the best!). James had never seen a T1 Spike, Chosen Spike, or Jacketed FFL Spike or PALz and I got a thank you for bringing them for him to see, I also got handshakes and a lovely couple of smiles from James. I didn't really get to make too much of an exchange from him as the show crew were ushering you out super fast.
James did not sign personalisations or allow posed photos.
During the photoshoot, I got a "Hi", massive smile and a handshake in, a hug, a couple of grins a handshake out and a "Thank you ever so much for coming, take care".
Charisma Carpenter
Charisma was pleasant and made "Hi" and thanks for coming comments which was nice. She also thanked me for being a Cordy fan and buying her figures, which was sweet.
She is NOT a fan of the DST figures at all, she said she had no idea that they had been made "like that", described YW Cordy as "hideous" and pulled this face:
Charisma was not impressed with DST Pylea Cordy either (no complaints from the MAC Buffy Cordy or the MAC Angel Cordys).
Charisma had not seen her PALz figure and commented it was cool and like a Transformer!
Clickable movie!

Charisma did sign personalisations and although she had no posed photos she did stop her signings and look up and smile so you could take a photo of her.
During the photoshooot she was cool too, all bright smiles and thank yous!
She ducked out for a break around 2pm and was overwhelmed buy the amount of people at the con and the volume of fans she had (I'll add she wasn't mobbed or anything!).
George Hertzberg and Mark Lutz
These guys were having a ball! Seated next to each other they had the devil in them!
George remembered me from Memorabilia last year but not my name - again like Tony amazing. We talked about his son and his wife, he is great fun with an amazing sense of humour.
Mark graced me with I know you, which was cool! (My third time meeting him!). I got him to co-sign Pylea Cordy for me, and Mark told me that when they were filming those episodes, Mark kept asking Charisma for change for a dollar.
Mark and George were crating a map called "Tony Head's Little Britain", basically Mark was adding the locations where fans had come from to see them.
Both did posed pictures and personalisations. These guys might not be classed as A-Grade Buffy/Angel stars but they sure know how to treat the fans!
Ray Park
I first met Ray five years ago, he was so kind, fun and gracious he left a real lasting impression with me, my mom and dad! Poor thing over slept bless him, so he started really late!
Sunday's write up coming later!
